DO I HAVE A CHOICE OF INTERIOR FINISHINGS?
To cater to a range of individual tastes, UNO offers two professionally designed interior packages and colour schemes:
BODEGA
Includes contemporary cabinetry combined with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops and glass tiles in soft grey tones.
MONTEREY
Has a modern creamy palette with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops and warm wood flooring for a hint of tradition.
WHAT TYPE OF HEATING/COOLING SYSTEMS DOES UNO HAVE?
To help maintain a quiet, comfortable, evenly heated living environment, UNO's suites are heated using in-floor hot water. The suites do not come with air conditioners.
IS THERE WIRINGTO WORK STATIONS AND OTHER 'DESK' OR 'OFFICE' AREAS?
Yes. We designed UNO to fit with the way you work and play.
WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO TAKE POSSESSION OF MY UNO CONDOMINIUM?
Development of UNO at Mount Royal doesn't depend on pre-sales. Construction is already well underway, and buyers can expect to take possession in February 2013.
I'M INTERESTED! HOW MUCH OF A DESPOSIT IS REQUIRED?
5% of the purchase price.
WHAT SORT OF FIRE PROTECTION DOES UNO OFFER?
Uno doesn't compromise... especially when it comes to our residents' safety. The building is fully outfitted with a sprinkler system, and all suites and common areas have hardwired heat and smoke detectors.
ARE PETS ALLOWED?
Unless your pet is a Bengal tiger...yes.

UNO IS LOCATED IN ONE OF CALGARY'S COOLEST NEIGHBOURHOODS. DOES UNO 'FIT' WITHIN THE MOUNT ROYAL SCENE?
We designed UNO to feel right at home in a neighbourhood as eclectically cool as Lower Mount Royal. Even as it exudes an air of edgy attitude, the building is completely at ease in the area's historic milieu. The exterior finishings combine stucco with hardy board- a fusion of style and strength. UNO's grounds include a water feature surrounded by trees and other greenery - a peaceful place to breathe easy at the beginning and end of each amazing day.
WILL I HAVE A BIG BALCONY - BIG ENOUGH, SAY, FOR A BARBECUE, A COUPLE DECK CHAIRS..MAYBE EVEN A CONTAINER GARDEN?
UNO's balconies range in size from 47 up to 183 square feet, and each includes a hook-up for a natural gas barbecue. When you live at UNO, it's easy to go al fresco!
WHERE DO I PARK MY VEHICLE? WHAT ABOUT MY VISITORS?
Along with your UNO condominium, you'll get a designated spot in our secure underground parkade. As for your visitors...we suggest you park them in one of your spare bedrooms or on a pullout couch. (During their stay, they're welcome to use one of UNO's four stalls reserved for short-term visitor parking)
I'VE GOT LOTS OF 'STUFF'. WHERE CAN I SAFELY STORE MY BIKES, SKI EQUIPMENT AND OTHER OVERSIZED OR SEASONAL BELONGINGS?
Your UNO suite comes with a storage locker in the underground parkade. Size-wise, it's around 100 cubic feet (3.25 w x 4.25 l x 7 h). The floor is concrete, and it has chain-link walls with a gate you can padlock.
WHAT SECURITY FEATURES DOES UNO INCLUDE?
We designed UNO to give residents the assurance of safety and security. The main lobby and elevator lobbies are equipped with security cameras, and no one gets into the building or the parkade without a key fob. Allmain-floor suites will be pre-wired for security systems.

I'M LOOKING FOR A CONDO THAT'S OPEN AND AIRY. HOW HIGH ARE THE CEILINGS IN UNO? AND HOW BIG ARE THE WINDOWS?
With a standard ceiling height of nine feet, your UNO home will feel open and roomy - a feeling enlarged by the bright, oversized windows in each suite. Nine of the top-floor suites have vaulted ceilings (12 to 14 feet).
ARE MAJOR APPLIANCES INCLUDED WITH MY UNO SUITE?
For an added touch of contemporary elegance, your condo comes complete with a stainless steel appliance package including dishwasher, microwave/fan combo, electric range and refrigerator. With a nod to your sophisticated lifestyle, your UNO kitchen includes a wine fridge. Each suite also comes with a stacked washer and dryer. The appliance package consists of KitchenAid and Samsung appliances.
WILL MY KITCHEN SINK HAVE A GARBURATOR?
Yes. In designing UNO, we paid close attention to the details that help make life easier....
I WANT A CONDO THAT'S AS QUIET AS IT IS STYLISH. WHAT MEASURES HAVE BEEN TAKEN TO MAXIMIZE SOUNDPROOFING BETWEEN SUITES?
To absorb the sounds from adjacent suites and keep your living space peaceful and quiet, UNO has engineered wood flooring that floats atop a concrete sound barrier underlay.
TELL ME ABOUT UNO'S INTERIOR FINISHINGS.
In keeping with the character of the Mount Royal neighbourhood, all of UNO's interior finishes are sophisticated and sleek. Flooring selections include 5-inch wide engineered hardwood floors, textured carpets in bedrooms, and larger tiles on bathroom and laundry room floors. Kitchen and bathroom countertops are quartz with under-mounted sinks. Polished chrome faucets throughout. The lighting package includes tracks and pendants in the kitchen and drum shades in bedrooms. Bath bars in bathrooms.
